Resolution of the City of Redlands concerning -Assembly Bill No. 22.
WHEREAS, proposed Assembly Bill No. 22 is an act to amend Section 100-25
of the Streets and Highwaya Code relating to the inclusio-n in the agreement
of corksideration for master plans of streets and highways of cities and
counties.
WHEREAS, it is desirable that provisions for im-provements, revisions or
ext'ansions oil city streets leading to or from a freeway, deemed by the
contracting agencies to be necessary in accommodating the freeway traffic
in making praper connections betv.,een the existing or contemplated system
of city streets into the freeway, may be included in agreements between
the City and the St�:te High ay Department and the department may perform
such work as a part of the freeway construction- if the street or highway
is at such time a Dart of the city strost system or county highway system
or is included in ar, officially adopted master plan of streets or highways
o.f such city or county.
BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVEDY
1. That the adoption of proposed Assemb.IZ Bill No. 22 is in the public
interest and promotes the thealth; safety and welfare of the City of Redlands.
