HomeMy WebLinkAbout4277_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4277 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 1050 - RECREATIONAL TRAILS: SANTA ANA RIVER WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has in July of 1987 completed a Park and Open Space Plan addressing some of the issues and possibilities along the Santa Ana River; and WHEREAS, the City of Redlands supports the concept of "Interlinking" Trail Systems, Linear Parks, and other recreational elements along the bluff of the Santa Ana River; and WHEREAS, the City has been in the process of acquiring land for Open Space and Parks along the Santa Ana River; and WHEREAS, the City of Redlands and the County of San Bernardino are currently discussing the possibilities of joint developments to target areas near the Santa Ana River area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands : 1. Does support the intent and adoption of Assembly Bill No. 1050 - Recreational Trails: Santa Ana River under the California Recreational Trails Act. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of July, 1987 .
