A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS DECLARING THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IS SURPLUS
AND IS NOT REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND ORDERING THE
SALE OF SAID PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Redlands does resolve as follows:
SECTION ONE: That real property was acquired for expansion of
Redlands Municipal Airport as a part of a Federal Aviation
Administration grant project, and a portion of said property is not
included in the Redlands Municipal Airport Master Plan for airport
improvements, and the property is now deemed surplus to the needs of
the City of Redlands, and said property is more particularly described
as follows:
A portion of the Southeast 1/4, Section 13, T .I.S . , R .3 .W. , San
Bernardino Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said section; thence
westerly along the North line thereof, 1796 .90 feet to the
Northeast corner of land conveyed by deed recorded in Book
1031, Page 249 of Official Records, County of San Bernardino;
thence southerly along the easterly line of said land so
conveyed, 306 feet; thence continuing southerly along the
southerly prolongation of said easterly line, 92.59 feet to the
True Point of Beginning; last said point being on a curve
having a radial which bears S 23° 01 ' 42" W, also said curve
being concave to the southwest and having a radius of 273.00
feet; thence southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 12° 18 ' 24" an arc distance of 58.64 feet to the
beginning of a reverse curve concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 327 . 00 feet; thence southeasterly along last said
curve through a central angle of 350 141 51" an arc distance of
201.17 feet; thence S 01 05 ' 15" E, 51.08 feet; thence S 891
54 ' 45" W, 239.85 feet; thence N 01 05 ' 15" E, 139 .67 feet to
the True Point of Beginning.
SECTION TWO: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby finds
and determines that certain property owned by the City is surplus and
is not required for public use.
SECTION THREE: That the City of Redlands Engineering Services
Department be directed to sell said property to the highest bidder,
after establishing a minimum bid based on an appraisal, and after
making the necessary public notifications of said sale. Said sale
shall conform to all requirements of the Federal Air Regulations as
established by the FAA.
SECTION FOUR: That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of
Redlands, upon completion of the sale, be authorized to execute a grant
deed on behalf of the City of Redlands for sale of said property.

NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS (BIDS)
FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of
Redlands invites all and will receive sealed proposals (bids) in the
Office of the City Clerk , up to the hour of 10 : 00 a.m. on the 28th of
July. 1988, and marked:
SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY AT REDLANDS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
The City Council of the City of Redlands reserves the right to
reject any and all bids in the best interests of the City.
The subject property is legally described as follows :
A portion of the Southeast 1/4, Section 13, T.I .S . , R.3 .W. , San
Bernardino Meridian , described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said section; thence
westerly along the North line thereof, 1796 . 90 feet to the
Northeast corner of land conveyed by deed recorded in Book

201.17 feet; thence S 00 05 ' 15" E, 51 . 08 feet; thence S 890
54 ' 45" W, 239 . 85 feet; thence N 0° 05 ' 15" E, 139 .67 feet to
the True Point of Beginning .
Minimum bid for this property which is located on the south side of
Sessums Drive approximately 1,700 feet west of Wabash Avenue is
$59 , 400 . The appraisal for this property can be examined in the office
of the Airport Manager at Redlands Municipal Airport .
Each proposal (bid) shall be made out and submitted on a form
supplied by the Bidder . Successful bidder shall deliver to the City of
Redlands, Engineering Services Department , a minimum of ten percent
( 10%) of their bid offer in cash or certified funds payable to the City
of Redlands on July 28, 1988, before 5: 00 p.m. Sale is subject to the
terms and conditions as may be required by the City Council of the City
of Redlands .
The total cash down payment selected shall be deposited in escrow
including the balance of the purchase price.
The escrow company selected shall be located within the City of
Redlands and shall be mutually approved by the City and Buyer .
City and Buyer shall deliver signed instructions to escrow as soon
as reasonably possible after acceptance of bid offer . City and Buyer
will deposit into escrow all instructions necessary to close escrow
within fifteen ( 15) days after acceptance .
City will pay cost for standard form policy of title insurance .
Buyer will pay all other fees , charges or costs in order to close
escrow.
