A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING
THAT CERTAIN STRUCTURES ARE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND ARE NOT REQUIRED
FOR PUBLIC USE, AND ORDERING THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Redlands resolves as follows :
SECTION ONE: That real property was acquired for expansion
of improvements at the ,Joslyn Senior Center, and the structures
situated on said property are now deemed surplus to the needs of
the City of Redlands, and it is necessary that said structures be
removed or demolished to clear the land for the proposed improve-
ments , and said property is more particularly described as follows :
Lot 9 , Ladd' s Second. Addition in the City of Redlands , County
of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded
in Book 5 of Maps , Page 33, records of said County.
SECTION TWO: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
finds and determines that certain structures on said property owned
by the City are surplus and are not required for public use.
SECTION THREE: That the City of Redlands Department of Public
Works be directed to sell said structures , after making the necessary
public notifications of said sale, to the highest bidder.
SECTION FOUR: That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City
of Redlands , upon completion of the sale, be authorized to execute
a Bill of Sale on behalf of the City of Redlands for the said
structures .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of October, 1981.
