Home My WebLink AboutContracts & Agreements_92-2026FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO PERFORM NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR IMPROVEMENT TO PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of landscape maintenance services at City parks, medians, Community Facility Districts, Landscape Maintenance Districts, and Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery ("Agreement"), dated July 15, 2025, by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and BrightView Landscape Services, Inc., a California corporation ("Contractor"), is made and entered into this 16' day of June, 2026. RECITALS WHEREAS, on July 15, 2025, City Council and Contractor entered into a four-year agreement for the provision of public landscape maintenance services; and WHEREAS, as part of the Bergamot Development by Meritage Homes, the new Coyazo Park was developed and dedicated to the City; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Contractor to amend their existing Agreement, to increase the annual compensation and total compensation to be paid to Contractor necessary to add services at the newly developed Coyazo Park, excluding the sports field area. NOW, THEREFORE, City and Contractor agree as follows: AGREEMENT Section 1. Section 5.1 of the Agreement, titled "Payments to Contractor," is hereby amended to read as follows: "5.1 Total compensation for Contractor's performance of the Services shall not exceed the amount of Two Million Four Hundred Sixty -Six. Thousand Six Hundred Sixty -Two dollars ($2,466,662). City shall pay Contractor on a time and materials basis up to the not -to -exceed amount in accordance with Exhibit "B," titled "Fee Schedule," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference." Section 2. Exhibit "A" ("Scope of Services") of the Agreement is replaced with an amended Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as Attachment 1. Section 3. Exhibit "B" ("Fee Schedule") of the Agreement is replaced with an amended Exhibit `B" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as Attachment 2. Section 4. Services shall include: • Routine mowing of turf areas to maintain a functional and aesthetically pleasing appearance • Parks with sports fields (i.e. soccer, baseball, flag football) are not part of the turf -mowing only scope.
