A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
REQUESTINC RANP CHANCES FOR STATE ROUTE = 106 .
WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways is planning
to construct a section of State Route No . 106 from Inter-
state 10 to Third Street;
WHEREAS, the change in freeway ramps will have a
vital effect on existing and future business establish-
ments in this area;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands is
desirous of obtaining the maximum benefit of freeway
development consistent with the needs of safety.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Redlands respectfully requests the State
Highway Commission to provide for the construction of an
off ramp which would permit soutblound traffic on State
Route No . 106 to exit the freeway onto the frontage road
to be constructed north of Interstate 10 between Alabama
Street and Tennessee Street , and an on ramp from the
frontage road to be constructed on the south side of
interstate 10 between Alabama Street and Tennessee Street
onto the northbound lane of State Route No . 106,
ADOPTED, SICKED, AND APPROVED this Sth day of
May 1970.
