A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
GRANTING TO REDLANDS TOWING, INC. A FRANCHISE TO OPERATE
AUTHORIZED TOW TRUCKS OVER, ALONG AND UPON THE STREETS OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS AND TO OPERATE AN AUTHORIZED STORAGE GARAGE
FOR IMPOUNDED OR STORED VEHICLES IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: Under the provisions of Chapter 5.80 of
the Redlands Municipal Code, the City Council hereby grants
to:
L & L TOWING
1143 PARK AVENUE
REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA
a franchise to operate authorized tow trucks over, along and
upon the streets of the City of Redlands and to operate an
authorized storage garage located at 1143 Park Avenue,
Redlands, California, for impounded or stored vehicles in the
City of Redlands.
SECTION TWO: The term of this franchise shall be for a
period of ten (10) years, commencing December 18, 1991, and
terminating on December 17 , 2001, unless sooner terminated,
and shall be subject to the right of the City to terminate or
alter or amend such franchise at any time as provided under
provisions of Chapter 5 . 80 of the Redlands Municipal Code.
SECTION THREE: The rules and regulations prescribed in
Chapter 5 . 80 of the Redlands Municipal Code shall govern the
operation of this franchise.
SECTION FOUR: The granting of this franchise is
conditional upon Mr. Harold Anderson, owner and operator of
L & L Towing, filing within ten (10) days, with the City
Clerk of the City of Redlands, a written acceptance thereof,
and an agreement to comply with the terms and conditions of
Chapter 5.80 of the Redlands Municipal Code.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of December,
1991.
