A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4842 AND REVOKING THE TOW
FRANCHISE OF LOMA LINDA TOWING
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1992, the City Council of the City of Redlands adopted
Resolution 4842 granting a tow franchise to Loma Linda Towing; and
WHEREAS, the tow franchise of Loma Linda Towing is governed by the rules and
regulations of Chapter 5.80 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, the tow franchise of Loma Linda Towing is subject to the right of the City to
terminate the franchise at any time as provided under the provisions of Chapter 5.80 of the Redlands
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, based upon testimony presented to it by the Redlands Police Department, the
City Council of the City of Redlands has determined that Loma Linda Towing has repeatedly
violated the conditions of its franchise and the provisions of Chapter 5.80 of the Redlands Municipal
Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
i n 1 Resolution No. 4842 granting a tow franchise to Loma Linda Towing is
hereby rescinded and the franchise of Lorna Linda Towing is correspondingly revoked.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of March, 1997.
