A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4741 RELATING TO TOW FRANCHISE PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, Chapter 5.80 of the Redlands Municipal Code established procedures for the
Redlands Police Department to contract with local companies for the provision of police rotational
tow services through franchises; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Redlands recently amended chapter 5.80 of the
Redlands Municipal Code to eliminate the issuance of tow company franchises and provide for
rotational tow services through contracts; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the revisions to Chapter 5.80, it is necessary to repeal certain
obsolete guidelines established by City resolution for tow company franchises;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
Section 1. Resolution No. 4741 relating to tow company franchise guidelines is hereby
repealed.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 1 st day of September, 1998.
