A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4311
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council
of the City of Redlands has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary to protect the
public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 10.40.310 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City
Council hereby establishes 2 hour time limit parking zone along the State Street frontage of 707
East State Street.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.40.210 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City
Council hereby reaffirms and continues loading zone on the east side of the 200 block of Eureka
Street fronting Sacred Heart School and Parish between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.,
Monday through Friday.
Section 3. Pursuant to Section 10.40.240 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City
Council reaffirms and continues a red zone on the south side of Olive Avenue between the two
drive approaches in the vicinity of 222 East Olive Avenue.
Section 4. Pursuant to Section 10.40.090 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City
Council reaffirms and continues three hour parking in the following locations: easement directly
north of the Smiley Library extending from Eureka Street to Fourth Street, the west side of
Fourth Street from Vine Street southerly for a distance of 264 feet; and the west side of Eureka
Street from Vine Street southerly for a distance of 546 feet.
Section 5. Pursuant to Section 10.36.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the City
Council reaffirms and continues designating the following streets as through streets:
- Pennsylvania Avenue from Thames Street to Karon Street, excepting at Church
Street, Orange Street and Texas Street.
- University Street from Brockton Avenue to San Bernardino Avenue, excepting at
Brockton Avenue, Lugonia Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue and San Bernardino
Avenue.
- Lincoln Street from Highland Avenue to Lugonia Avenue, excepting at Highland
Avenue, Citrus Avenue, Colton Avenue and Lugonia Avenue.
Section 6. Resolution No. 4311 is hereby rescinded.

Section 7. This City Council further detennines that the approval of this Resolution is
exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to
CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3) which provides that CEQA applies only to projects which
have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. This City Council finds
that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the approval of this Resolution
may have a significant effect on the environment.
