A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 67
OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 67 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained
in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that
traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that
certain regulations are necessary and shall be established,
pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the
Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to
perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 679 , Section 67904, of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1. Establish three 24 minute parking spaces at 707 East
State Street.
SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 678 , Section 67801 , of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1 . Establish loading zone on the east side of the 200 block
of Eureka Street fronting Sacred Heart School and Parish
between the hours of 7 :30 A.M. and 3 :00 P.M. , Monday
through Friday.
SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 67707 .3 , of
the Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1. Establish a red zone on the south side of Olive Avenue
between the two drive approaches in the vicinity of 222
East Olive Avenue.
SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Article 621, Section 62105 of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1 . Establish three hour parking in the following locations:
the easement directly north of the Smiley Library
extending from Eureka Street to Fourth Street; the west
side of Fourth Street from Vine Street southerly for a
distance of 264 feet; and the west side of Eureka Street
from Vine Street southerly for a distance of 546 feet.
SECTION FIVE. Pursuant to Article 676, Section 67601 , of the
Redlands Ordinance Code:
1. Designate the following streets as through streets:
-- PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE from Thames Street to Karon
Street, excepting at Church Street, Orange Street
and Texas Street.
UNIVERSITY STREET from Brockton Avenue to San
Bernardino Avenue, excepting at Brockton Avenue,
Lugonia Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue and San
Bernardino Avenue.
LINCOLN STREET from Highland Avenue to Lugonia
Avenue, excepting at Highland Avenue, Citrus Avenue,
Colton Avenue, and Lugonia Avenue.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 17th day of November, 1987 .
