TRAFFIC RESOLUTIONS PURSUAW TO CITY OF REDLAN DS
WPM ORBINANCEs CHAPTER 67 OF REDLANDS ORDI-
NANCE CODE.
Pursuant to studies heretofore made under
authority of this City Council and the presenta-
tion of the information gained in such studies q
the City Council hereby finds and determines that
traffic conditions and the convenience of the pub-
lic require that certain regulations are necessarY,
and shall be established, pursuant to Chapter 67
of the aedlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic
Engineer of the City of aedlands Is hereby directed
to perform sach acts as are nceessary to accomplish
the foilowinS:
Pursuant to Article 673 of Chapter 67, to
authorize and establish official traffic control
siEnals to control traffic at the following inter-
sections :
1. U. S. Bighway 99 (Central Avenue) at
Texas Stroet.
2. U. S. Highway 99 (Central Avenue) at
Orange Street.
3. U. S. Highway 99 (Central Avenue) at
Citrus Avenue.
4. North Orange at Colton Avenue.
5. North Orange at Lugonia kvenue.
6. Citrus Avenue at Church Street (Signals
In operation from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 P.m. on
days when public schools are in session) ,
7. Orange Street and State Street.
Pursuant to Article 674 , the making of turnn-
ing movements in the form of U-Turns shall be
prohibited at the following intersections:
1. Citrus Avenue and Orange Street.
2. Brookside Avenue and Center Street®
3. U. S. Highway 99 (Central Maue) and
Third Street.
4. U. S. Highway 99 (Central Avenue) and
Fourth Street.
5. U. S. Highsa99 (Gentral Avenue) wad
Fifth Street
6. U. V highway 99 (Central Avenue) and
Sixth Street.
7. U. S. Highway 99 (Central Avenue) and
Seventh Street.
Pursuant to Article 675 of Chapter 67;
1. To establish The Terrace between Orange
Street and Alta Street as one-way streets.
2. To establish Tenth Street between U. S.
Highway 99 (Central Avenue) and Citrus Avenue as
one-way streets ,
Pursuant to Article 676, Section 676.1 of
Chapter 67:
1. To establish U. S. Righway 99 (Central
Avenue) as a through highway from and including
Tennessee Street to the Met nity limits of the
City of Redlands.
2. To establish Orange Street as a throng
highway from and including Citrus Avenue to the
north city limits of the City of Redlands®
31 To establish University Street as a
through highway from Cypress Avenue to Brockton
Avenue excepting at Colton Avenue.
4. To establish Churah Meet as a through
highway from and including Vern Avenue to the
north city limits, excepting at Lugonia Avenue.
5. To establish Texas Street as a ttrough
highway from and including Central Avenue to the
north city limits, excepting at Colton Avenue,
and at San Bernardino Avenue.
6. To establish Lugonia Avenue as a throu
highway from the West city limits of the City o
Redlands to and including Wabash Avenue .
7. To establish Brockton Wenue as a tiLrough
highway from Texas Street to Judson Street except-
ing at Orange Street and Church Street.
8. To establish Colton Avenue as a through
highway from and including Tennesuee Street to
Wabash Street.
9. To establish Citrus Avenue as a through
highway from and including Kendall Street to and
including Wabash Avenue, excepting Brookside Avenue.
10. To establish Brookside Avenue as a
through highway from and including Tenneasee Street
to and including Eureka Meet.
11. To establish Olive Avenue as a through
highway from and including Terracina Boulevard to
Citrus Avenue.
12. To establish Cypress Avenue as a through
highway from and including Sunnyside Avenue to
Citrus Avenue, excepting at U. 0. Highway 99.
13. To establish Highland Avenue as a through
highway from and including San Mateo Street to
Wabash Avenue $ excepting at U. S. Highway 99
Wentral Avenue) and at Cajon Street,

4. To stop all vehicles entering First Street
at Oriental Avenue.
5. To stop all vehicles entering Judson
Street at Sylvan Boulevard.
