A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL
CODE.
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and
the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and
determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant to Title 10 of
the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed
to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.40.310 of the Redlands Municipal Code:
1. Revise 2-hour parking time limit to 30-minute parking time limit for one parking
space on the east side of 9"' Street at Citrus Avenue and one parking space on the
north side of Citrus Avenue at 9"' Street.
2. Revise 2-hour parking time limit to 30-minute parking time limit for three parking
spaces on the east side of Orange Street adjacent to 330 Orange Street.
3. Create a passenger loading zone on the west side of Michigan Street for
approximately 150 feet adjacent to McKinley Elementary School and paint the curb
white and install three posted signs reading "NO PARKING, PASSENGER
LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY, NO UNATTENDED VEHICLES,
7:OOAM TO 4:OOPM, DURING SCHOOL."
4. Create a passenger loading zone on the south side of Colton Avenue from the mid-
block crosswalk west for approximately 120 feet adjacent to Franklin Elementary
School and install three posted signs reading "NO PARKING, PASSENGER
LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY, NO UNATTENDED VEHICLES,
7:OOAM TO 4:OOPM, DURING SCHOOL."
