A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT
TO CHAPTER 67 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 67 of the
Redlands Ordinance code, and the presentation of information gained
in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that
traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that
certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant
to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance code, and the Traffic Engi-
neer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts
as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 680, Section 68001 (a) of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance :
1. Establish a 40 mile per hour speed zone on West Cypress
Avenue between Terracina Boulevard and Nottingham Drive
for both east and west bound traffic, and place appropriate
signs as indicated in the Police Department speed survey.
SECTION TWO : Pursuant to Article 674, Section 67401 (b) of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1 . Remove the restrictive signs, to-wit: "NO U TURN" for east
and west bound traffic on Redlands Boulevard at the inter-
section of Eureka Street and Redlands Boulevard.
SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 675, Section 67501 (a) of
the Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1 . Designate the alley south of Citrus Avenue between Eureka
Street and Fourth Street as a "ONE-WAY" alley and require
all vehicles to travel east from Eureka Street and exit on
Fourth Street.
