A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO
CHAPTERS 67 and 62 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
Be it hereby resolved by the City Council :
Pursuant to studies made under the authority of Chapters 67
and 62 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, the presentation of information
gained in such studies , the City Council hereby finds and determines
that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that
certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to
Chapters 67 and 62 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic
Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts
as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 678, Section 678. 1 (a) and
678.2 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance : To establish a loading zone
on the west side of Fourth Street from a point approximately 114 ' south
of Redlands Boulevard to a point approximately 134 ' south of Redlands
Boulevard.
SECTION TWO : Pursuant to Article 621, Section 6211+ of the
Redlands Parking Meter Ordinance : To permit the installation of parking
meters on the west side of Fourth Street from the alley north to
Redlands Boulevard.
SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 678, Section 678. 1 (a) and
678.2 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance : To establish a bus loading
zone on the west side of San Mateo Street from a point approximately
250' north of Cypress Avenue to a point approximately 300 ' north of
Cypress Avenue.
SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Article 678. 1 (b) of the Redlands
Traffic Ordinance : To permit the removal of loading zone in front of
McEwen' s Carpets , south side of State Street between 4th and 3rd Sts.
SECTION FIVE: Pursuant to Article 621, Section 6214 of the
Redlands Parking Meter Ordinance : To permit the installation of two
(2) hour parking meter in front of McEwen' s Carpet Shop, south side
of State Street between 4th and 3rd Streets.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this fourth day of February,
1964.
