HomeMy WebLinkAbout6269_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 6269 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE. Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.40.3 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Create a passenger loading zone for approximately 40 feet on the south side of Colton Avenue west of Berkeley Drive adjacent to Franklin Elementary School and install two posted signs reading "NO PARKING, PASSENGER LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY, NO UNATTENDED VEHICLES, 7:OOAM TO 4:OOPM, DURING SCHOOL." 2. Create a 2-hour time limit parking zone from 7:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m.Monday through Friday with resident parking permit hangers on both sides of Clark Street between Eureka Street and Fourth Street excluding the frontage of the Light of the World Church and install posted signs reading"2-HOUR PARKING, 7:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY ONLY." SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 10.44.070 of the Redlands Municipal Code: I. Create 18 one-hour time limit parking spaces, four 30-minute time limit parking spaces and one handicap parking space with no time limits in the Civic Center parking lot located at the northeast corner of Cajon Street and Vine Street. Install entrance signs reading "CIVIC CENTER CUSTOMER PARKING ONLY DURING THE HOURS OF 6:30 AM TO 6:30 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, EXCLUDING SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND HOLIDAYS. VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED PER CVC 22519." ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 20TH DAY OF APRIL, 2004. Mayor Pro Team ATTEST: Cit lerk �/u
