HomeMy WebLinkAbout4489_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4489 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10 .24.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code a traffic engineering investigation has been conducted for the following highway and the following speed limit is hereby found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and is reasonable and safe: Highway: GarOer► Street Date of Study: December 14 , 1988 Speed Limit. as Follows: 30 miles per hour between Cajon Street and Mariposa Drive ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of April, 1989 . SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 40802 (b) of the California Vehicle Code the following highway has been studied and the following speed limits are hereby found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and are reasonable and safe. Highway: San Mateo Street Date of Study: December 6 , 1988 Speed Limits as Follows: 35 miles per hour between Brookside Avenue and Fern Avenue 30 miles per hour between Fern Avenue and Highland Avenue Maintain school zone as currently posted for north and south bound traffic at Smiley Elementary School between Fern Avenue and Clifton Avenue ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of April , 1989 .
