A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT
TO CHAPTER 67 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 67 of
the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the presentation of information
gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and deter-
mines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public
require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be
established, pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance
Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby
directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the
following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 67709 , of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1. Establish "No Parking" zone and paint curb red on both
sides of the 1200 block of Colton Avenue, 50 feet west
of the westerly crosswalk and 50 feet east of the
easterly crosswalk.
Rescinded 2 . Remove passenger loading zone and establish "No Stopping"
5115j82 zone between the hours of 8 : 00 A.M. and 5 : 00 P.M. on the
gee attached south side of Citrus Avenue, east of Church Street and
ropy of minutes west of the crosswalk.
3 . Move the "No Parking" zone on Orange Street, south of
Colton Avenue 55 feet to the south of its current
location.
SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 676 , Section 67603, of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1. Install stop sign on Golden West Drive at East Sunset
Drive North.
2 . Install stop siqn on Valley View Drive at East Sunset
Drive North.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd days of March, 1982 .

COMMISSION REPORTS (Continued)
Councilman Martinez expressed concern that General Funds
Bid Call will have to be used for repairs and stated he was not
sure this was a wise expenditure of money. On motion of
Jennie Davis Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Martinez , the
Park City Clerk was unanimously authorized to advertise for
Restrooms bids for the construction of the restroom facilities in
the Jennie Davis Park.
Public Works Commission - will meet on July 12 , 1982 , at
3: 30 P.M. in the Conference Room in City Hall .
APPLICATIONS AND PETITIONS
The Redlands Unified School District has requested that
Council rescind action taken on March 2 , 1982 , to remove
a passenger loading zone and establish a "No Stopping"
zone on the south side of Citrus Avenue, east of Church
Street and west of the crosswalk, as there is no other
area at the high school for passenger loading. Commis-
sioner Steven Crotinger explained that the Traffic
Rescind of Commission recommended this action following complaints
No Parking that students were using this area to park before and
Zone t after school hours and that it had become an enforcement
problem for the police. Councilman Martinez moved to
rescind this action (Resolution No. 3817, Section One ,
G Paragraph 2) with the understanding that the campus
police will provide the enforcement. Motion seconded by
Councilman Johnson and carried unanimously.
Councilman Martinez moved to waive the bowl fees for the
Evangelism Commission of the First Baptist Church for
two concerts to be held on July 18 and August 15 with
Waiver of the clean up to be provided by the church. Motion
Bowl Fees seconded by Councilman Johnson. Council discussed
waiving fees in general and requested that staff provide
a report showing exactly what the $85. 00 fee pays for.
The motion to waive the bowl fees for the Baptist Church
was then approved with Councilman DeMirjyn voting against
it.
On motion of Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman
Redlands Martinez , Council unanimously granted permission to the
Art Redlands Art Association to hold an art exhibit and sale
Association in Smiley Park adjacent to City Hall on October 9 and
10, 1982 .
The request to use a temporary building by Redlands
Community Hospital during construction was referred to
the Planning Commission at this afternoon' s session.
