A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the
Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies,
the City Council of the City of Redlands has determined that certain traffic regulations
should be established to protect the public health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 10.40.090 of the Redlands Municipal Code,
establish a no parking zone on Fern Avenue along the rear of Cope Middle School for
approximately 300 feet and install "No Stopping, No Parking, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
Except Holidays" signs.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.40.200 B. of the Redlands Municipal Code,
remove the white paint on the curb designating a passenger loading zone on Fern Avenue
along the frontage of Cope Middle School and remove the"No Parking, Passenger
Loading and Unloading Only,No Unattended Vehicles, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Except
Sundays and Holidays"signs.
Section 3. Pursuant to Section 10.40.3 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code,
establish a 2-hour time limit parking zone on both sides of Eureka Street from Fern
Avenue south to Home Place and allow abutting residents to park without any time
restrictions.
Section 4. Pursuant to Section 10.40.200 A. of the Redlands Municipal Code,
establish a loading zone on the north side of State Street beginning at the end of the no
parking zone on the east side of the drive approach at 301 Tennessee Street, La-Z-Boy
West, and extending easterly for approximately 80 feet.
