A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 67
OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 67 of the
Redlands Ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained
in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that
traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that
certain regulations are necessary and shall be established,
pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the
Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to
perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 40802 (b) of the California
Vehicle Code, the following highway has been studied and the
following speed limits are hereby found most appropriate to
facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and is reasonable and
safe:
Highway: Rossmont Drive
Speed Limits: 25 MPH Except 20 MPH on the curve
SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 67709 , of the
Redlands Traffic Ordinance:
1 . Establish "No Parking" zone and paint curb red for five
feet (51 ) on both sides of the driveway entrance into 631
West State Street.
2 . Establish "No Parking" zone for fifteen feet (151 ) in
front of the driveway of Valley Preparatory School,
1605 Ford Street.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of August, 1987 .
