A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3805
WHEREAS,, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council
of the City of Redlands has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary to protect the
public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 10.40.310 of the Redlands Municipal Code, this City
Council hereby establishes a no parking zone for approximately 100 feet at the two existing bus
stops located on the north side of Brookside Avenue between Ash Street and San Mateo Street,
beginning at the curb return at Ash Street and heading west and beginning at the curb return at
San Mateo Street and heading east.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.40.310,this City Council reaffirms and continues its
establishment of"No Parking"for bus loading zones at the following locations:
a. West side of Orange Street beginning 78 feet south of Colton Avenue—55 feet in
length.
b. West side of Cajon Street,north of Fern Avenue, from comer—northerly 117 feet
in length.
c. East side of Cajon Street, north of Cypress Avenue, from comer — 70 feet in
length.
Section3. Resolution No. 3805 is hereby rescinded.
Section 4. This City Council further determines that the approval of this Resolution is
exempt fi-om review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA') pursuant to
CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3)which provides that CEQA applies only to projects which
have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. This City Council finds
that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the approval of this Resolution
may have a significant effect on the environment.
