HomeMy WebLinkAbout7016_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 7016 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE AND RESCINDINNG RESOLUTION NO. 5530 WHEREAS,pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council of the City of Redlands ("this City Council") has determined that certain traffic regulations should be established to protect the public health, safety and welfare, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS: Section 1. Pursuant to Section 10.40.090 of the Redlands Municipal Code, this City Council hereby establishes a no parking zone on the south side of Clifton Court across the street from Kingsbury Elementary School between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. when school is in session. Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.40.090 of the Redlands Municipal Code, this City Council hereby removes approximately 135 feet of an existing no parking zone on the south side of Clifton Court across the street from Kingsbury Elementary School, beginning along the frontage of 1 I Clifton Court and ending in the middle of the frontage of 5 Clifton Court. Section 3. Resolution No. 5530 is hereby rescinded. Section 4. This City Council further determines that the approval of this Resolution is exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3) which provides that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. This City Council finds that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the approval of this Resolution may have a significant effect on the environment.
