HomeMy WebLinkAbout2640_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO, 2640 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 67 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 67 of the Redlands ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that cer- tain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 677, Section 677 . 9 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: To establish a "No Parking" zone on the East side of Orange Street from the North curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 150 feet North. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 677, Section 677 . 9 of the Redlands Traffic ordinance: To establish a "No Parking" zone on the East side of Orange Street from the South curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 260 feet South. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 677 . 9 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: To establish a "No Parking" zone on the West side of Orange Street from the North curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 285 feet North. SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Article 677, Section 677 . 9 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: To establish a "No Parking" zone on the West side of Orange Street from the South curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 160 feet South. Ta for City Attorney 3 APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC REGULATIONS A resolution of the City of Redlands passed and adopted by the City Council, of said City on November 21 , 1967, provides for the establishment of a "No Parking" zone on the east side of Orange Street from the north curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 150 feet north, on the east side of Orange Street from the south curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 260 feet south, on the west side of Orange Street from the north curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 285 feet north, and on the west side of Orange Street from the south curb line of Lugonia Avenue to a point approximately 160 feet south. Orange Street south of Lugonia Avenue is State Highway Route 38 as defined by law. Orange Street north of Lugonia Avenue is State Highway Route 106 as defined by law. This resolution insofar as it relates to State Highway Routes 38 and 106 is approved subject to the following condition: The resolution shall cease to be operative six months after receipt by the City Council of written notice of withdrawal of approval of the Department of Public Works, This approval is made pursuant to delegation of authority from the Director of Public Works through the State Highway Engineer to the undersigned District Engineer which delegations of authority are dated October 9 and 11, 1967 , respectively.
