HomeMy WebLinkAbout3763_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3763 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 67 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE Pursuant to studies rude under authority of Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursu- ant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 677, Section 67707 , of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: 1 . Establish "No Parking" Zone and paint curb red on the west side of Eureka Street between the abandoned alley north of the Police Department to State Street. 2 . Establish "No Parking" Zone and paint curb red on Alabama Street at the following locations: a. The entire west side of Alabama Street from 300 feet south of Redlands Boulevard to 20 feet north of Industrial Park Avenue. b. The east side of Alabama Street from 300 feet south to 35 feet north of Redlands Boulevard. C. The east side of Alabama Street from 130 feet south to 60 feet north of Industrial Park Avenue. 3. Establish "No Parking" Zone to accommodate bus stop on the west side of Tennessee Street south of Park Avenue for 60 feet and on the east side of Tennessee Street south of Park Avenue for 50 feet. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 676, Section 67603 , of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: 1 . Establish a four-way stop at the intersection of Church Street and San Bernardino Avenue. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 676 , Section 67307 , of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: 1 . Establish left-turn lane on Colton Avenue at entrance to Western Investment Properties Development (Tri-City Center) and paint the curb on the north side of Colton Avenue along the entire length of the left-turn lane and the transitions red. 2 . All work be done at the developer ' s expense and by the developer ' s contractor to the specifications of the City of Redlands . SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Article 676, Section 67604 , of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: 1 . Remove the stop sign on Canyon Drive at garden Street.
