HomeMy WebLinkAbout2306_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO, 2306 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 62 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE:, Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 62 of the Redlands Ordinance Code,, the presentation of 4rformation gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be establishedpursuant to Chapter 62 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, .and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following- SECTION ONE: No person shall ride," operate, or use, in any manner,, a bicy cle or similar var0,.,Ie of propulsion upon any sidewalk within Vehicle Parking District No. 1 of the City of Redlands. The Chief of Police is author- ized to place on any sidewalk proper signs which shall prokd, bit the use of any vehicle contrary to the provisions hereof. SECTION TWO-. Any person riding., operattIng, or using a bicycle or similar vehicle of propu.2._,sion on a sidewalk within the City of Redlands., excludix.g the area within the Vehicle Parking District No. 1p shal.1 yield the right of way to all pedestrians and shall give an audible signal before passing any pedestrian.
