HomeMy WebLinkAbout3896_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3896 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 62 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3350 . Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 62 of the Red- lands Ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies , the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regu- lations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to Chapter 62 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Chapter 62 , Article 621 , Section 62105 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance : 1 . Establish three (3) hour parking where parking is permitted on the following parking lots : A. Lot No. 6 (south side of Redlands Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth Streets) B. All Mall parking bounded by Redlands Boulevard, Orange Street , Eureka Street, and Citrus Avenue; excluding: 1 . The underground facility not be limited to three- hour parking, but remain as unrestricted parking. 2 . The portion of the parking lot immediately adjacent to Orange Street between State Street and the First Interstate Bank be marked as 24-minute parking (green zone) . 3 . The six spaces directly behind the Sears Catalog Store from Redlands Boulevard be marked as 24- minute parking on three spaces (green zone) , and loading zone parking on three spaces (yellow zone) . 4 . A 25-foot commercial loading zone, 50 feet west of the north main entrance, and a 50-foot commercial loading zone , 100 feet east of the north main entrance, be established.
