A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MV ICIPAL CODE.
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal
Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby
finds and determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant
to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of
Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the
following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.2.4.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code,
traffic engineering investigations have been conducted for the following highways and the
following speed limits are hereby found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement
of traffic and are reasonable and safe:
Highway: BARTON ROAD
Date of Study: DECEMBER 18, 1996
Speed Limits as follows:
55 mph between West City Limit and Terracina Boulevard
45 mph between Terracina Boulevard and Alabama Street
35 mph between Alabama Street and Lakeside Avenue
Highway: BROOKSIDE AVENUE
Date of Study: DECEMBER 18, 1996
Speed Limits as follows:.
35 mph between Lakeside Avenue and Center Street
30 mph between Center Street and Eureka Street
