HomeMy WebLinkAbout5149_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 5149 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE. Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.24.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code, a traffic engineering investigation has been conducted for the following highway and the following speed limit is hereby found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and is reasonable and safe: Highway: REDLANDS BOULEVARD Date of Study: OCTOBER 10, 1994 Speed Limits as follows: 40 mph between California Street and Nevada Street 45 mph between Nevada Street and New York Street 40 mph between New York Street and Kendall Street 30 mph between Kendall Street and 6th Street 25 mph between 6th Street and midway between Fern Avenue and Cypress Avenue 35 mph between midway between Fern Avenue and Cypress Avenue and Highland Avenue 50 mph between Highland Avenue and Ford Street ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 21ST DAY Or,EBRUARY, 1995 Mayor of the City of Redlands ATTEST: City Cl I, Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21 s t day of February, 19 9 5, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Foster, Cunningham, Gilbreath, Gil; Mayor Larson NOES: None ABSENT: None Cityk f Resolution No. 5149 Page 2
