HomeMy WebLinkAbout2650_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2650 A RESOLU'T'ION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 67 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE Pursuant to studies trade under authority of Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to Chapter' 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic Engi- neer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 676, Section 676. 1.. and 676 . 3 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance To establish a "Stop" sign on Sixth Street to stop northbound and southbound vehicles at the intersection of State Street . SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 676, Section 676. 1 and 676. 3 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: To establish a "Stop" sign on State Street to stop eastbound vehicles at the intersection of Sixth Street. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 677, Section 677 . 9 of the. Redlands Traffic Ordinance: To establish a "No Parking" zone on the east side of Sixth Street from Citrus Avenue to State Street. SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Article 677, Section 677. 1 and 677 .9 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance and Article 621, Section 6211 of the Meter Ordinance: To prohibit the parking of vehicles for a time longer than two hours on Sixth Street between State and Citrus . SECTION FIVE: Pursuant to Article 676, Section 676. 1 and 676 . 3 of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: To establish a "Stop" sign on Ninth Street to stop northbound and southbound vehicles at the intersection of State Street .
