Mayor ATTEST: City erk EXHIBIT "A" ENGINEERING, TRAFFIC AND SPEED SURVEY HIGHWAY UNDER SURVEY: Sunset Drive AREA OF: Between Vinton Way and Panorama Point DATE OF SURVEY: November 12, 1990 RECOMMENDATIONS: The Iast ball bank indicator test conducted on this section of Sunset Drive was on November 12, 1990. Since the survey, the street segment has not undergone any significant changes in geometry or surface condition. For this reason, the ball bank indicator test data of November 12, 1990 is still acceptable. In the area between Vinton Way and Panorama Point, ball bank indicator tests were run. Following is a list of the safe speeds determined for each curve: Curve Speed #1 30 m.p.h. #2 33 m.p.h. #3 35 m.p.h. #4 33 m.p.h. #5 33 m.p.h. #b 33 m.p.h. #7 31 m.p.h. #8 30 m.p.h. Please refer to the attached map for the location of each curve. Based upon these readings it is recommended the street be posted for 30 m.p.h. Based on the facts of this survey it is recommended that Sunset Drive between Vinton Way and Panorama Point be posted as a 30 m.p.h. zone.
