HomeMy WebLinkAbout4398_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4398 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10 .36 .010 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Designate Franklin Avenue as a through highway between its termini at Garden Street and require all vehicles to stop before entering or crossing the same. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 10 .40 .090 (B) of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Delete the easterly 100 feet of red curb from the existing 210 feet of red curb on the north side of Redlands Boulevard, east of Eureka Street. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Section 10 .28 .020 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Change street striping to add an additional lane of traffic at the following locations: a. Fifth Avenue, eastbound, frori 600 feet west of Marion Road to Wilbar Circle. b. Fifth Avenue, westbound, from Dearborn Street to Marion Road. C. Ford Street, northbound, from 100 feet south of Fifth Avenue to Citrus Avenue. d. Ford Street, southbound, from Citrus Avenue to Cambon Court.
