A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the
Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies,
the City Council of the City of Redlands ("this City Council") has detennined that certain
traffic regulations should be established to protect the public health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 10.40.3 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, this
City Council hereby establishes a 2-hour time limit parking zone on both sides of New
Jersey Street north of Redlands Boulevard to the end of the existing cul-de-sac, the east
side beginning on the north side of the parking lot entrance to the USPS Processing &
Distribution Center and the west side beginning north of the southerly parking lot
entrance to the Wal-Mart shopping center.
Section 2. This City Council further determines that the approval of this
Resolution is exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act
("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3) which provides that CEQA
applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the
environment. This City Council finds that it can be seen with certainty that there is no
possibility that the approval of this Resolution may have a significant effect on the
environment.
