A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE.
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and
the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and
determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant to Title 10
of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby
directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.40.310 of the Redlands Municipal Code:
1. Create a white painted curb passenger loading zone for approximately 300 feet on
Fern Avenue frontage of Cope Middle School and install "No Parking, Passenger
Loading and Unloading Only, No Unattended Vehicles, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Except
Sundays and Holidays" signs.
SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 10.40.200 of the Redlands Municipal Code-

ode:1 . Remove the existing white painted curb for passenger loading zones at two locations
along the frontage of Lugonia Elementary School located at 202 East Pennsylvania
Avenue. One loading zone is located beginning approximately 48 feet east of the
centerline intersection of Alta Street and Pennsylvania Avenue extending 70 feet
easterly and the other loading zone is located beginning approximately 48 feet west
of the centerline intersection of Alta Street and Pennsylvania Avenue extending 87
feet westerly.
SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Section 10.40.310 of the Redlands Municipal Code:
1 . Create three 2-hour time limit parking zones located along the frontage of Lugonia
Elementary School at 202 East Pennsylvania Avenue. The first, 2-hour time limit
parking zone is located beginning approximately 48 feet east of the centerline
intersection of Alta Street and Pennsylvania Avenue extending 70 feet easterly. The
second, 2-hour time limit parking zone is located between existing red curbs
beginning approximately 48 feet west of the centerline intersection of Alta Street and
Pennsylvania Avenue extending 87 feet westerly. The third, 2-hour time limit parking
zone is located 33 feet east of the centerline of the westerly 20 foot driveway of the
westerly parking lot of Lugonia Elementary School extending approximately 102 feet
easterly.
