A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL
CODE.
Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and
the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and
determines that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established pursuant to Title 10 of
the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed
to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10.36.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code:
1. Install a multi-way stop at State Street and New York Street.
SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 10.40.310 of the Redlands Municipal Code:
1. Create a Passenger Loading Zone for approximately 76 feet on the south side of
South Avenue adjacent to Kimberly Elementary School. and install two posted
signs reading "No Parking/Loading and Unloading Only Between 7:00 A.M. and
3:00 P.M. During School."
2. Create a passenger loading zone for approximately 274 feet and a no parking zone
for approximately 60 feet on the north side of Citrus Avenue for westbound traffic
adjacent to Redlands High School and install three posted signs reading "No
Parking/Loading and Unloading Only Between 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. During
School" and install two posted signs reading "NO PARKING ANY TIME."
