HomeMy WebLinkAbout6885_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 6885 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation:of information contained in such studies,the City Council of the City of Redlands has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary to protect the public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS as follows: Section I. Pursuant to Section 10.24.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code, a traffic engineering investigation(Engineering and Traffic Survey and Speed Survey Data sheets),attached hereto as Exhibit AA@ and made a part thereof,has been conducted for the following highways and the following speed limits are hereby found most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic, and are reasonable and safe: Highway: Palm.Avenue Date of Study: July 22, 2009 Speed Limits as follows: 30 mph on Palm Avenue between Serpentine Drive and San Mateo Street. 40 mph on Palm Avenue between San Mateo Street and Ford Street. Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to effectuate this Resolution.
