HomeMy WebLinkAbout3583_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3583 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 67 OF THE REDLANDS ORDINANCE CODE Pursuant to studies made under authority of Chapter 67 of the Redlands ordinance Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursu- ant to Chapter 67 of the Redlands Ordinance Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Article 676 , Section 67603, of the Redlands Traffic ordinance: 1. Install stop sign at the northwest corner on Fountain Avenue at Cajon Street. 2. install stop sign for southbound traffic on Wabash Avenue at Colton Avenue. 3. Install stop signs on Cambridge Avenue at Lincoln Street. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Article 673, Section 67307 , of the Redlands Traffic ordinance: 1. Eliminate right turn lane for southbound traffic on Wabash Avenue at Colton Avenue. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Article 677 , Section 67707 . 3, of the Redlands Traffic ordinance: 1. Establish "No Parking" zone for ten (10) feet on each side of the two driveways on the east and west sides of Teledyne Battery Products , 840 West Brockton Avenue. SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Article 678, Section 67805.2, of the Redlands Traffic Ordinance: 1. Extend present "Loading" zone an additional twenty (20) feet on Texas Street in front of orangewood High School. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of June, 1979 . q .
