HomeMy WebLinkAbout4477_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4477 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE Pursuant to studies made under authority of Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the presentation of information gained in such studies, the City Council hereby finds and determines that traffic conditions and the convenience of the public require that certain regulations are necessary and shall be established, pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, and the Traffic Engineer of the City of Redlands is ;hereby directed to perform such acts as are necessary to accomplish the following: SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Section 10 .36 .030 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1 . Erect stop signs on southbound Alessandro Road at Sunset Drive. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 1C . 52 .010 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Erect signs specifying that trucks over five tons gross vehicle weight shall be prohibited on Rossr;ont Drive and Valle Vista Drive. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Section 10.36.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1 . Designate Reservoir Road between Ford Street and Wabash Avenue as a through highway and require all vehicles to stop before entering or crossing the same, except Pard Street and Wabash Avenue. SECTION FOUR: Pursuant to Section 10 . 40 .090 (a) of the Redlands Municipal Code: 1. Place appropriate signs or curb markings to prohibit stopping, standing or parking of vehicles on Alabama Street from Barton Road to 600 feet north of Orange Avenue except that portion controlled by the County of Bernardino.
