A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AUTHORIZ-
ING THE EXECUTION OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY CERTIFICATE PERTAINING TO AN
FAU PROJECT KNOWN AS SELECT SYSTEM PROSECT NO. 256 FOR THE MODIFI-
CATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF TEXAS STREET AND
REDLANDS BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI'T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS
FOLLOWS
WHEREBY, the Mayor of the City of Redlands is hereby author-
ized and directed to execute on behalf of said City a Right-of-
Way certificate pertaining to FAU Project known as Select System
Project No. 256 for the modification of traffic signals at the
intersection of Texas Street and Redlands Boulevard, a copy of
which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and referred to and
made a part hereof as fully as though set forth at length herein.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of March, 1975.

NUMBER ONE
RIGHT-OF-WAY 7AY CERTIFICATION
The City of Redlands hereby certifies in connection with the
right-of-way for an FAU Project known as Select System Project No.
256 that
All necessary rights-of-way have been acquired, including
legal and physical possession.
1. STATUS OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION
a. Total number of parcels required - NONE
b. Parcels acquired outright. - NONE
2. STATUS OF AFFECTED RAILROAD FACILITIES - The Southern Pacific
Railroad has facilities located in this jobsite, and the
necessary steps have been taken to assure that full compliance
with all railroad requirements will be attained at the time
the contract is awarded.
3 . DESIGNATED MATERIALS SITES - Nome
4. DESIGNATED DISPOSAL .AREAS - None
5. STATUS OF UTILITY RELOCATIONS -- None
6. SCHEDULE FOR REMOVAL OF OBSTRUCTIONS - None
7. UNAUTHORIZED ENCROACHMENTS - None
8. COMPLIANCE WITH RELOCATION ADVISORY ASSISTANCE AND PAYMENTS
PROVISIONS OF FEDERAL AND STATE LACE - Provisions of IM--80-1--71
relating to assistance for displaced families and businesses
are not applicable to this project since no families or
businesses are being displaced. Also, for the above reason.,
no 94-day notices are .required.
The City of Redlands agrees to hold the State of California.
harmless from any liability which may result i.n the event the right-
of-way is not clear as certified. If the State is named in a damage
suit, as a result of the right-of-way not being clear as certified,
the City of Redlands agrees that, at the request of the State, it
will assume full responsibility for the conduct of the defense or
provide such assistance as the State may require and will pay
judgments issued against the State and all costs in connection with
the defense.
