A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS,
CALIFORNIA, URGING THE UNITED STATES POS'T'AL SERVICE TO
APPROVE THE POSTMARK "INLAND EMPIRE" FOR R.EDLANDS MAIL
PROCESSED 'THROUGH THE SAN BERNARDINO SECTIONAL CENTER
WHEREAS Redlands mail will be processed at the San Bernardino
Section Center, and will be stamped with a "San Bernardino" post-
mark; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Redlands is of the
opinion that. an "Inland Empire" postmark would be more appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands that the United States Postal. Service is urged to
approve the postmark. "Inland. Empire" for Redlands mail, processed
through the San Bernardino Sectional. Center.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of April. , 1976,
