A RESOLUTION CONCERNING TRANSFER OF UNCLAIMED MONEY IN THE TREASURY
OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
WHEREAS , certain money not the property of the City of Redlands
has remained unclaimed in said city' s treasury since 1949, a period
of more than 10 years , and
WHEREAS , the amount of said unclaimed money is $689.68, and is
held in the Treasurer' s Trust Account for 1925 Assessment Bonds,
and
WHEREAS , it is proposed by the City Council of the City of
Redlands that said sum of $689. 68 shall become the property of the
City of Redlands , and be transferred to the general fund,
THEREFORE, this City Council hereby resolves as follows :
1 . That the unclaimed amount of $689. 68 in the Treasurer ' s
Trust Account for 1925 Assessment Bonds has remained unclaimed in
the City Treasury for more than 10 years .
2 . That it is proposed that said unclaimed money will become
the property of the City of Redlands .
3 . That the City of Redlands authorizes the City Clerk to
publish notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State
of California for the purpose of acquiring title to said un-
claimed money.
4. .That upon the completion of said proceeding, the unclaim-
ed money in the amount of $689.68 shall be transferred to the
general fund.
