RESOLUTTON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPLETION OF THE WABASH
AVENUE I1_\rTERCRANGE
WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways is planning to con-
struct a truck lane on Tnterstate 10 in the vicinity, of Wabash
Avenue and
WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways has indicated they
will construct a complete interchange at Wabash Avenue provided
the City and County cooperate in the project; and
WHEREAS, a complete interchange at Wabash and connecting
roads would be highly beneficial to the people living both in the
City and the unincorporated area..- and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is willing to finance that por-
tion within the City,
BE IT THEREFORE NOW RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands does hereby request the Board of Supervisors of-
San
fSan Bernardino County to participate with the City and the State
in completing this important freeway interchange,
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of March, 1972.
