A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 5684 TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATION OF WATER OPERATIONS
MANAGER, AND TO DOWNGRADE THE UTILITY BILLING OFFICE MANAGER TO
UTILITY BILLING SUPERVISOR AND RE-ASSIGN IT FROM THE MID-MANAGEMENT
UNIT OF REPRESENTATION TO THE GENERAL UNIT.
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands makes every possible effort to analyze the needs of the City to
increase efficiency and improve operations and in that effort have determined that a Water
Operations Manager classification is necessary;
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands evaluates positions for appropriate classification levels and
assignment to bargaining units as they become vacant;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does hereby
resolve that Salary Resolution 5684 be amended to reflect the addition of a Water Operations
Manager(MM 56), and the downgrade of the Utility Billing Office Manager (MM 44) to Utility
Billing Supervisor(G 42) .
