RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
REQUESTING THE STATE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS TO COMPLETE
THE WABASH AVENUE INTERCHANGE.
WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways is planning to
construct a truck lane on Interstate 10 in the vicinity
of Wabash Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways has indicated
they will construct a complete interchange at Wabash
Avenue provided the City and County cooperate in the
project; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the State Division of Highways
to require local agencies to provide necessary right-of-way
for freeway changes desired by the local agency.
BE IT THEREFORE NOW RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redlands hereby agrees to pay for the acquisition
of right-of-way that is required for ramp construction
within the City of Redlands ,
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of December,
1972.
