A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
IMPLEMENTING WATER CONSERVATION IRRIGATION SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on July 29, 2014, the California State Water Resources Control Board, in an
effort to increase water conservation during this time of severe drought, approved mandatory
watering restrictions which were to expire on April 25, 2015; and
WHEREAS, on May 5, 2015, the California State Water Resources Control Board, due to
the continued drought, reestablished, for an additional 270 days, mandatory water use restrictions
("Restrictions"); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to increase its water conservation efforts during times of
Restrictions and is implementing restrictions on irrigation water use; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby enacts the following:
Section 1. Irrigation water use is reduced to two days per week allowing even-
numbered addresses to irrigate on Mondays and Thursdays and odd-numbered addresses to irrigate
on Tuesdays and Fridays, during the prescribed hours cited in the Redlands Municipal Code
Section 13.06.080, B.
