A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
REQUESTING THE ACQUISITION OF A WELL SITE ON SAN
BERNARDINO AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is faced with acquiring new sources
of water in order to meet water demands and to provide adequate water
service; and
WHEREAS , Parcel No. 32 (168-051-11) has been approved for sale at
public auction on January 18 , 1984 , by the Board of Supervisors of San
Bernardino County; and
WHEREAS , said parcel currently has a producing water well ; and
WHEREAS , said parcel is located on San Bernardino Avenue between
Church Street and Judson Street, which is a beneficial location for a
well site for Redlands ; and
WHEREAS , said parcel is needed by Redlands for a domestic water
well site to aid the City in meeting domestic water demands; and
WHEREAS , said parcel can be acquired by Redlands for a price in
the amount of $250. 00 ; and
WHEREAS, a certified copy of this resolution is needed by the
San Bernardino County Treasurer-Tax Collector and the Board of Super-
visors in order for Redlands to acquire said parcel ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands as follows ;
The City of Redlands desires to acquire Parcel No . 32
(168-051-11) under Section 3695 of the California State.
Revenue and Taxation Code and objects to the sale of
the property in that it is needed for public use .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of December , 1983 .
