HomeMy WebLinkAbout2480_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2480 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS OPPOSING AN APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICA'T'ION BEFORE THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION© THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE THAT: WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Planning Commission has under consideration the application of Stolzoff Investment Corporation and FNS Investment Corporation for a change of zone classification for the area commonly known as San Timoteo Canyon adjacent to Live Oak Canyon Road, and; WHEREAS, such subdivision is within approximately one mile of the Redlands City limits, and; WHEREAS, said territory is within the area of annexation of the Redlands General Plan, and; WHEREAS, pursuant to said General Plan it is projected that the proper development density should be two families per acre, and; WHEREAS , said application is contrary to projected land development of the City of Redlands, and; WHEREAS, the proposed lot areas set forth in said application are contrary and repugnant to the standards imposed by the prevailing ordinances of the City of Redlands, and; WHEREAS, said application does thereby adversely affect the orderly land development and the health, safety and general welfare of the City of Redlands; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: Section 1: That the City Council, for and on behalf of the people of the City of Redlands , opposes the above described application before the San Bernardino County Planning Commission for a change of zone classification. Section 2: That certified copies of this Resolution be sent to the San Bernardino County Planning Commission and the Planning Director thereof.
