GRANT OF EASEMENT
THE GRANTOR_, CITY OF REDLANDS a Municipal Corporation
hereby grants to the GENERAL TELEPHONE COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation, hereinafter
referred to as GRANTEE, its successors and assigns, an easement to construct, use, maintain,
operate, alter, add to, repair, replace, and remove its facilities, consisting of underground
conduits, manholes, pedestals, cables, wires, and appurtenances for the transmission of
electric energy for communication and other purposes over, in, under, across, and along that
certain real property situated in the County of San Rarnarrl;nn State of California,
described as follows:
The East 540.00 feet of the South 100.00 feet of the North 580.00 feet of the Northeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 1 South, Range 3 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian.
Said easement being the Easterly 10.00 feet of the Westerly 15.00 feet of the above
described parcel.
THE GRANTEE, its successors and assigns and their respective agents and employees shall
have the right of ingress to and egress from said easement and every part thereof, at all
times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted and shall have the right to
remove such growth as may endanger or interfere with the use of said easement. Such rights
shall be reasonably exercised and the Grantee shall be liable for any damage negligently
done by it to the above described property.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has executed this agreement this 19th day of
June 1984.

for said State, personally appeared Carole Beswick , personally -known to me to be
the Mayor, and Lorrie Poyzer , personally known to me to be the
City Clerk of the CITY OF REDLANDS, a Municipal Corporation, known to me or proved to me on
the basis of satisfactory evidence to be the persons who executed the within instrument on behal
of said corporation, and acknowledged to me that the CITY OF REDLANDS executed the within
instrument.
