Bid Call The City Clerk was unanimously authorized to advertise
for bids for the reconstruction of Lincoln Street at the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad using Gas Tax
Lincoln funds on motion of Councilman Martinez , seconded by
Street Councilman DeMirjyn.
On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman
Martinez , Council unanimously accepted three pipeline
Pipeline easements from Amir-Parkwest, J. & C. Sluis, and Marbrisa
Easements Villa' s Developers for a ten foot wide easement located
between Tennessee Street and Kansas Street, south of
Orange Avenue. The easement is required for the construc-
tion of a fifteen inch diameter trunk sewer.
The County Office of Community Development has advised us
that H.U.D. has approved the award of the remaining alter-
natives for completion of Phase II construction for the
Community Community Center. Joe Gonzales spoke expressing happiness
Center to have come to this second stage and expressed gratitude
Phase II on behalf of the committee for Council ' s support and
Alternatives approval. On motion of Councilman Martinez , seconded by
Councilman DeMirjyn , the following change order was
unanimously approved for Phase II construction of Community
Center in the amount of $113 ,140 :

On motion of Councilman Gorman, seconded by Councilman
Claim DeMirjyn, the claim in the name of Luella C. Woods in
the amount of $1, 000 was unanimously found not to be a
proper charge against the City and therefore rejected.
Bills and salaries were ordered paid as approved by the
Finance Committee.
There being no further business, Council adjourned on
motion at 8 :55 P.M. to a closed session for the purpose
of discussing matters covered under the attorney/client
privilege.
