request of -the applicant and will be rescheduled for
the Council meeting of September 21, 1982.
Resolution No. 3847, a resolution of the City Council
Resolution establishing a schedule of preliminary fees to be paid
No. 3847 to the Planning Department based on a study of fees in
21 cities and six counties in Southern California, was
Planning unanimously approved on motion of Councilman Johnson,
Fees seconded by Councilman Gorman, for the reason that it
covers reasonable cost.
Resolution Resolution No. 3849, a resolution of the City of
No. 3849 Redlands faxing the rate and levying the property tax
for the fiscal year 1982-83 at $0. 0075 for the Sewer
Property Fund Debt Service, was unanimously adapted on motion
Tax Rate of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Gorman.
On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman
Resolution Gorman, Resolution No. 3851, a resolution of the City
No. 3851. Council establishing a salary schedule and compensation
plan for city employees which reflects personnel. changes
Salary discussed by Council during closed sessions or budget
hearings, was unanimously approved.
CITY MANAGER
On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman
1981._$2 Gorman, Council unanimously approved encumbrances to
Encumbrances cover outstanding obligations of the City which were
being processed or were incomplete at the end of the
1981-82 fiscal year.
Council unanimously approved an agreement with John
Carollo Engineers to perform an energy audit at the
Wastewater Treatment Plant and proceed with Phase 'I of
Sewer Plant the audit at an estimated cost of $9, 150. 00 on motion
Energy Audit of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman Johnson,
after commenting that the fee should be lower. Council-
man Gorman did not feel the fee to be unreasonably high
for this type of consultant.
Declaration On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman
or 'Martinez, Council unanimously accepted a Declaration of
Dedication vDedication for street and alley right-of-way on Eighth
Street from Ann L. Leonard as required by CRA No. 448.
