For a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the City of
Redlands, a Municipal Corporation, hereby Quitclaims and releases to Mervyn's, all.
right, title and interest in the underlying fee of the following described property
situated in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California., more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section. 21, Toc4nship I South,
Raabe 3 West,, San Bernardino t`Iez idian, in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, according to the Official Plat of said land filed in. the District band
Office, February 24, 1.869, described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Walnut Avenue and Alabama Street, as shown
on Map of Henry L. Williams Tract, as per Plat recorded in Book 11 of Daps, Page 1.7,
records of said County, said intersection lies Westerly 26.46 feet from the Nest line,
of the Southwest quarter of said Section 21; 'thence along the Easterly prolongation of
the centerline of Walnut Avenue North 89° 32' 32" East 6.54 feet; thence South 0° 25'
13" East 349.00 feet; thence North 89° 34 ' 47" East 96.85 feet to the Easterly night-•
of-way line of Alabama Street as described in a deed to the State of California
recorded February 3, 1961 in Book 5342, Page 385 of Official Records of said County,

CITY MANAGER
A Grant of Easement from Redlands Community Hospital for
public road purposes was unanimously accepted on motion
of Councilman DeMirjyn , seconded by Councilman Gorman.
Grant of The necessity for the Grant of Easement is a portion of
Easement existing roadway is being vacated by Parcel Map No . 7782
and in order to preserve the public rights to the exis-
ting roadway, a temporary Grant of Easement is required
until Fern Avenue is constructed.
On motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman
Bid Call Gorman, the City Clerk was authorized to advertise for
bids for paving materials for the year 1983 .
Councilman Martinez moved to authorize the Fire Depart-
ment to purchase additional backup equipment for the
Funds Paramedic Program in the amount of $16 , 000 with funds
to be used from the Proposition "P" Fund and the Para-
Paramedic medic Fund; motion seconded by Councilman DeMirjyn.
Equipment Council held a brief discussion regarding the transport
of patients accompanied by the paramedics. Motion then
carried unanimously.
The Mayor and City Clerk were unanimously authorized on
motion of Councilman DeMirjyn , seconded by Councilman
Quitclaim Gorman, to sign three Quitclaim Deeds for a portion of
Deeds Industrial Park Avenue from the City to Donald and
Robert Bernstein as the City no longer has any use of
the street and has fee title to Industrial Park Avenue.
The Mayor and City Clerk were unanimously authorized on
motion of Councilman DeMirjyn, seconded by Councilman
Gorman, to sign a Quitclaim Deed for a portion of Indus-
Quitclaim trial Park Avenue from the City to Mervyn ' s as the City
Deed no longer has any use of the street and has fee title
to Industrial Park Avenue.
Bills and salaries were ordered paid as approved by the
Finance Committee.
There being no further business , Council adjourned, on
motion , at 9 :20 P.M.
Next regular meeting, December 21 , 1982 .
